Mitabang Homestay, Kampung Tulung-Mantob is situated in Kiulu,a scenic countryside in the district of Tuaran, Sabah Malaysian Borneo. 22KM from the nearest town, Tamparuli Sabah. Public Transport from Tamparuli town only cost the visitor RM3.50 to this homestay. This homestay village is accessible by road and a safe one-and-half hour drive will get you there from Kota Kinabalu International Airport.

Comes and experience the life, the culture and live-hood of the warm, friendly and hospitable Borneo Dusun community by staying with them in their humble but homely abode. The core activity of our package and educational,recreational and fun type activities like planting and harvesting paddy, rubber tapping, craft making , traditional music and dance, preparing traditional food/delicious, nature/jungle/river adventures. Package of such activities can be arrange for day trip, two days one night, three days two nights or longer. We also provide rafting, camping, boating, fishing rod and team building services in collaboration with AG River Adventures.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION

The cool and hilly area of Kiulu near Tamparuli is located about 45 minutes drive north east of Kota Kinabalu. From the famous Jambatan Tamparuli (Tamparuli hanging bridge), you continue uphill for most of the drive to get to Kampung Pukak Homestay, about 30 minutes away. The drive provides the opportunity to enjoy scenic sights such as the Kiulu River, which is perfect for White Water Rafting as well as terraced paddy fields in various sizes. A visit to tamu (or an open market) in Tamparuli on Wednesdays is a must!
