The town located in the middle of Tuaran District, 36KM from the main city of Kota Kinabalu, easy to be found and a lot of surprises waiting for the visitors. Bamboo Music Festival, Tamparuli

Date : 24 November 2010

A festival organised to preserve, promote and developtraditional bamboo music.

A myriad of exciting activities such as the sale of local crafts and bamboo musical

instruments, traditional bamboo based games such as the rampanau

(walking on bamboo stilts) and many more. The highlight of this unique event

is the performance of the Bamboo Music Orchestra that uses traditional

bambooinstruments. All are welcome to be part of this unique event!

7.00 – 7.30 am	:	Arrival Committee member
8.00 am	:	Solo instrumental competition begins.
	:	Music Bamboo performance - Rinukut
	:	Monugunggak Performance
	:	Bamboo dance performance.
	:	Bamboos unplug Competition.
	:	Music Bamboo performance.
10.15 am	:	Arrival of Invited guests.
10.40 am	:	Arrival of YB Datuk Jahid Jahim Assistant Minister of Youth & Sports Sabah cum YB N9 Tamparuli.
10.50 am	:	Arrival YB Datuk Bolkiah Hj. Ismail Assistant Minister of Tourism, Culture & Environmnet Sabah.
	:	National Anthem.
11.00 am	:	Speech by Madam Jane Thing, President OMBAK
11.15 am	:	Speech by YB Datuk Jahid Jahim Assistant Minister of Youth & Sports Sabah cum YB N9 Tamparuli.
11.30 am	:	Launching speech by YB Datuk Bolkiah Hj. Ismail Assistant Minister of Tourism, Culture & Environmnet Sabah.
